The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is the only judicial organ of the United Nations. The Court’s role is to settle, in accordance with international law, legal disputes submitted to it by States and to give advisory opinions on legal questions referred to it by authorized United Nations organs and specialized agencies. This year in NACMUN’16, the ICJ will judge the case of the Millennium Dam between Egypt and Ethiopia..

NATO’s essential purpose is to safeguard the freedom and security of its members through political and military means. In NACMUN’16, NATO will go back a few yeas to discuss the Libyan crisis of 2011.
Security Council has primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security of the world. It has 15 Members, and each Member has one vote. It also includes 5 permanent members, whom have the veto power, or ability to overrule decisions. This year the Security Council focuses on the multilateral crises of the issues occurring in the Middle East.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime is a global leader in the struggle against illicit drugs and international crime, and the lead United Nations entity for delivering legal and technical assistance to prevent terrorism. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime will be discussing drugs and arms trafficking in the Americas.
